School Clothes

Travis came out dressed and ready for school the other day like this...

He was wearing one of his long sleeve shirts that looks like two shirts with another short sleeve shirt over it. He had then put on long pants with shorts over that. He very proudly came out of the room and exclaimed, "look Mom my pants match this shirt and my shorts match this shirt under it."

"That's great," I replied. "Is it comfortable to wear all those layers?"

"Of course," piped Travis. "It might get cold at recess so I wanted long pants too."

How can you argue with that? So off to school he went very proud of how he had managed to make everything work. At least it wasn't a costume:)

Hee hee, that is classic. You're such a good Mom for letting him go to school like that. I love that he was so proud of himself...who could ruin that. My boys don't quite understand the whole matching thing yet. Christian is VERY particular about what he wears and there is no changing his mind.
