The girls finally outnumber the boys! We have added ten baby hens to our family, although they are here on a limited basis as in two years they will be soup and broth. For now they are cute little balls of fluff that are visibly growing every day. They boys have fun holding them and they are fun to watch. Alex is busy working on a chicken coop so we can move them out of the nursery. We are excited to have a large supply of fresh eggs in a few months (the boys have big plans for all the money they are going to make selling eggs).

Wow! You are brave to take on such a project. But, I have heard that selling eggs is a great job for kids. Good luck!
