This weekend marked the end of Brandon's birthday celebration. We had a great time with Nana, Pappy, Grandma and Grandpa comming from UT and CA. Saturday night we went out to eat at Outback as Brandon requested steak (he ate a 9 oz Outback Special with mashed potatoes and fries and yes he ate almost all of it). Being the great older brother that he is when he was presented with a birthday sunday he took two bites then passed it around for everyone to try. When it got back to him he invited Travis to move over next to him so that they could share it. I am so blessed to have two boys who are so kind and loving to each other. Much of this comes from Brandon's example of inclusion and compassion.

Following dinner Brandon and Travis were invited to spend the night in a hotel with Grandma and Grandpa. They had a great time. When Grandpa issued the invitation Travis bounded into the room where Grandma was and exclaimed, "Grandma be ready to be excited because we are going to be staying the night with you in the hotel!"
Sunday was also a special event. We all gathered at Kristi and Mark's house for an amazing ham lunch following which we went to the church for Blake John Dunn's blessing. He is such a cute baby and is now smiling and looking around at everything with his big blue eyes. It is fun to see him grow. All in all a very fun weekend full of family and love!

How fun! It's exciting that Kristi and her family are nearby. I had wondered if they were still in TX. Happy Birthday, Brandon!
