He made a deal with Grandma and Grandpa, the "Candy Deal." Any grand kid can decide to make the deal which is to not eat any candy for one whole year. If you accomplish this you will receive $100. The idea being an exercise in self discipline, resisting peer pressure and accomplishing a long term goal. At first it was a little hard, there were times he had to be reminded although there was never any pressure, he could quit anytime. By the end Brandon was declaring how easy it was. When he was given candy he just gave it to Travis (Travis was delighted with this arrangement). Once he reached the end he was very excited and proud of himself, as he should be. Great job Brandon! Goal reached!
Brandon did it! One whole year of eating no candy.

I can't believe he made it! Way to go, Brandon.
Good for him. Reminds me of President Uchtdorf's talk in conference. 1 whole year, impressive!
Whoa! That is fabulous--what an accomplishment!
