Pinewood Derby

Anyone who was ever in Cub Scouts will happily relay the joyful memories of their Pinewood Derby experiences. Last night Brandon was able to experience his first. It was really fun and the weeks leading up to it Alex and Brandon had a great time planning, shaping and painting his car. Alex was very proud of the fact that he was able to exhibit great self control and Brandon and not Alex did in fact make the car. Alex just helped show him how to use the tools and talked him through the process. Brandon was very proud of "Blue Streaker." His car did well too with a two first place finishes and a few seconds. It is so fun to watch your kids build their own memories!
