Ruthann is a huge personality in a little package. She is so much fun! She seems older to me than she really is, a little sad for my last baby. She is in a rush to grow up and be a part of everything. Her brothers are happy to allow her to join in their games as you can see.

Wait a minute guys, you forgot me!!

It is impossible to keep Ruthann's socks on for more than a minute or two regardless of how cold it is. I was a little surprised one day to find that she had not only gotten her sock off but her pants as well. She was very delighted with her accomplishment.

Ruthann wants to see and be a part of anything going on. If you look busy she makes a beeline for you and demands to be held. Once you scoop her up she starts bouncing as if to say, "ok I'm here now so what are we going to do?"

She is so close to really walking. She has taken four steps before falling so far. She gets so excited that she usually knocks herself over by clapping or laughing. You can sometimes tell she is going to try to walk because she will stand up and start to laugh in anticipation of what she is about to do. She skipped the baby food stage and just likes to eat whatever we are eating. So far no food allergies, yea! She has four teeth on top (two only half in) and three on the bottom, all front teeth. She loves music and anything fast and exciting. Brandon is thrilled he will finally have a sibling that will go on roller coasters with him. He is willing her to grow quickly. Her first word was Mama and last week she learned to say Dada. She also mimics Jayden's bark in tone and frequency when he starts barking to remind the boys that it is his meal time. We are working on teaching her a few signs, so far all she does is finished but I think she is about to get drink. Like all of our kids she is a great deal of fun, sensitive but very, very fun.

She looks so different than she did last Fall. Who does she resemble most in the family? From the pictures, I thing I see a beautiful blend...and a blondie to boot!
Year number one is coming up!!!
When can she come play with us?
