This picture was actually taken about three weeks ago on one of our very few hot days. I love sleeping babies, especially now that Ruthann and Frederick both have colds and are not sleeping. Alex and I actually fell asleep on the couch at 8:40 Saturday night, Brandon and Travis were appalled when they heard the news. Sarah gave this to Ruthann when she was here, knowing that the boys would love it. Travis especially was delighted and declared her Supergirl with very special powers. According to Travis she lures people in with her charming smile then slimes them with toxic drool or uses her secret weapon, exploding poop sometimes accompanied by a "sonic boom". Who would have guessed it from this innocent face?

Frederick reminds me of Brandon in many ways. He is very logical and he loves an audience. He is discovering how to put on shows for Ruthann and loves that she gets so excited to see him. He has a hard time sometimes waiting for her to be big enough to really play with. Watching him and Ruthann brings back memories of Brandon and Travis at these ages. It is fun to watch family dynamics unfold.
