What a busy and wonderful weekend last week! Kristi and Mark blessed their newest son and so our parents came up for the weekend. It was great to see them and Brandon and Travis had an amazing time staying in their hotel with them several nights. We also had lots of swimming events.
The 16th was Brandon's swim-a-thon for swim team. He swam for two hours with only one quick bathroom break (he ran there and back because he didn't want to waste a moment). Brandon swam 130 lengths (about 2 miles)! We are very proud of his hard work and especially that he did the whole two hours and didn't stop early (many of the kids in his group did).
This is Brandon at the end of his two hours! Thanks to to all of you who sponsored him and his fast swimming he raised quite a bit of money for his team.

He swam the 50 backstroke and 50 free style and did really well in both. Since it was his first meet he was teamed up with on older swimmer "buddy" (below) who made sure he was where he needed to be when he needed to be there. It was really fun to watch and very nice that his Grandparents were able to be there to see it all.
