Feeding Dogs

Jayden learned early what it meant when Frederick got into his seat. He is quick to take up position right under his chair and does a great job of keeping the floor clean. Until yesterday Frederick didn't really realize why the dogs liked that spot. While we were finishing dinner Frederick became tired of the potatoes he was eating and started watching Bree who happened to be under him this time. After a minute he grabbed a piece of potato and dropped it to her. She quickly gobbled it up and Frederick burst out laughing. We armed him with a few Cheerios and grabbed the camera to capture his new game. Bree doesn't really like cheerios but Frederick was still shaking with laughter even before he dropped the food in anticipation of what was to come. Perhaps this new game will make up for the occasional hair pulling.

We had a few sunny days here last week, spring is in the air! This second video is for you Shauna.

That is April's exact behavior, too. She quickly learned with Emily that a kid in a high chair means chow time! She has kept it up with both Noah and Ellie. And the kids really like that game, too!
